Behind the brand IsabelLandscapes there is Isabella Tabacchi, an award winning landscape photographer based in the north of Italy.
Isabella Tabacchi's photography stems from her need to explore and express her deep feelings through the natural landscapes she captures. Images by Isabella Tabacchi are not just images, they are incredibly beautiful journeys from the surface to the core of our earth.
When you see a picture by Isabella Tabacchi, you also feel the story behind it. Her dedication from taking the picture, to developing the raw material, to printing it is unique. The dedication to challenge the boundaries of creativity and her ear and feel for the landscape remain her secret.
Each landscape Isabella explores gives her a sense of discovery, challenge and also something of herself. Despite her young age, she is one of the most influential and award-winning landscape photographers.
Isabella explored and studied the boundless sceneries in the Alps, with a special regard to the Italian Dolomites.
Her need to visit and discover new places and unknown environments brought her to the Far East of Russia, in the Kamchatka peninsula, where, together with two local guides, she ventured into pristine and dangerous nature of those territories, among forests and volcanoes.
Other destinations visited by Isabella include Lofoten Islands, Canary Islands, Iceland and Namibia.
Since 2016 Isabella won many international competitions including Monochrome Awards, International Photographer of the Year awards (IPOTY), Outdoor Photographer of the Year (OPOTY), Fine Art Photography Awards, Moscow International Photo Awards, Epson International Pano Awards (Highest scoring Gigapixel Image), ND Awards, Tokyo Foto Awards.
Awarded as Photographer of the Year 2020 in the Moscow International Photo Awards 2020 (MIFA) thanks to a serie from the project “Kamchatka: to the abyss of the Earth”.
